You didn't start a business to lose yourself in it.
For dog walkers, cleaners, tutors, beauticians and anyone with a service to offer who says yes to everything, charges too little, and is quietly running on empty.
I help you fix the mindset that's costing you — the people-pleasing, the guilt about charging, the fear of saying no — and the practical stuff too: getting online, setting up your socials, actually getting paid what you're worth.
You’re brilliant at what you do. Saying yes to everything and quietly burning out isn’t the price of running a business. That’s exactly what I’m here for.
From “I say yes to everything” to a business that’s actually yours
Where you’re stuck
Undercharging. Saying yes when you mean no. No website, no idea which platform to use, and not sure you’re even “allowed” to charge what you’re worth.
What changes
The words ready for the next awkward client message. Clear pricing you actually stick to. A simple website that’s live and socials set up properly.
How you get there
Free scripts for the moments you always say yes anyway, plus a step-by-step guide for the practical side. No overcomplicated nonsense. Just what works.
The Client Boundaries Toolkit
Nine client situations every sole trader dreads, worked through in full: what to say, the policy behind it, and the paperwork to back it up. The cancellation policy for your website, the contract clauses for payment terms, the price increase letter you've been putting off sending.
Written by someone who's absorbed every one of these costs herself, so you don't have to learn it the expensive way, client by client.
9 Things to Say When You Know You Should Say No
Nine of the exact moments that turn up again and again when you run a service business on your own — the cleaning job that turns into "can you just quickly do the oven," the client who's suddenly haggling because they know you, the text at half nine on a Sunday you answer anyway — and the actual words to use instead.
Written by someone who's said yes to every single one of them too. No workbook to work through first, just the words, ready for whenever the next awkward client message lands.

Coming soonThere’s a person behind every business — including yours.
Getting online isn’t just technical. It’s the self-doubt, the people-pleasing, the “who am I to charge for this.” I write honestly about that side too, because nobody else seems to. If that’s the part you’re stuck on, that’s okay — start here.

This started with my dad’s business, which had no online presence at all — and the realisation that being brilliant at what you do isn’t enough if nobody can find you. Since then I’ve helped small service businesses get online, starting with my own sister’s. I’m not a guru and I’m not a life coach. I’m just someone who’s done the messy bit and can save you the overwhelm.
About Me
I’m Ashleigh. A mum of two teenage girls, partner, daughter, sister, friend, dog mam, taxi driver, emotional support human and part-time chaos manager.
I have three jobs because I hate monotony but I crave routine. I can’t stand habit trackers. I buy planners I never use. I’ve tried all the systems and still feel like I’m losing my head most days.
I’m not here to coach you or tell you what works. I’m here to say — if it hasn’t worked, you’re not alone. Maybe it was never meant to.
I’ve spent years working alongside small service businesses, and I know exactly where people get stuck. Not just the practical stuff but the internal stuff too. The imposter syndrome, the overwhelm, the waiting until you feel ready. I help people get past all of it and actually get started.
I’m building a space for people like me. People who can’t do things in moderation so they have to quit altogether. People who are done pretending that what “should” work actually does. And people who have something real to offer but have no idea how to get it online.
This site is the beginning of something that will grow. Right now it’s raw. But so am I.
If you’ve got a service to offer but no idea how to get it online or if you’re just trying to figure life out one step at a time you’re in the right place.

I don’t have it figured out. I just keep showing up.
