Welcome to Not a Life Coach (notalifecoach.com). These terms explain what you’re agreeing to when you use this site, sign up for our free resources, or buy any of our products. By using the site, you agree to these terms — so give them a read.
Not a Life Coach is run by Ashleigh Wilson, a sole trader based in the UK. If anything here doesn’t make sense, or you want to ask about something specific, email hello@notalifecoach.com.
What we offer
Not a Life Coach provides content, guidance, and digital products for sole traders and small service business owners, including:
- Free resources (checklists, guides, and similar downloads) available in exchange for your email address
- Paid digital products, such as the Starter Guide and other guides or toolkits
- Blog and social media content across our site, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
Everything we share is based on real, hands-on experience running a service business — not formal coaching, consultancy, or professional advice. See the disclaimer below for more on that.
Not professional advice
This is important: content on this site, in our free resources, in our paid products, and across our social channels is general guidance based on personal and business experience. It is not professional, legal, financial, tax, or business consultancy advice, and Not a Life Coach is exactly that — not a life coach, and not a substitute for a qualified professional (accountant, solicitor, financial adviser, etc.) where your situation calls for one.
You’re responsible for your own business decisions. We can’t be held liable for outcomes resulting from how you choose to apply anything you read, download, or purchase from us.
Buying our products
When you purchase a digital product from us (such as the Starter Guide):
- Payment is processed securely through WooCommerce/Stripe
- You’ll receive access to or delivery of the product shortly after payment, usually by email or instant download
- Prices are listed in GBP (£) and include any applicable tax unless stated otherwise
Digital content and your right to cancel
Under UK consumer law (the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), you normally have 14 days to cancel an order for a refund. However, because our products are digital content delivered immediately (downloads, instant access, etc.), this right is waived once you begin downloading or accessing the product, provided you’ve given your consent to this at the point of purchase.
If you haven’t yet accessed or downloaded a paid product and want to cancel, contact us at hello@notalifecoach.com within 14 days of purchase and we’ll sort out a refund.
If a product is faulty, doesn’t match its description, or you’re genuinely unable to access it due to a technical issue on our end, get in touch and we’ll make it right.
Free resources and mailing list
Signing up for a free resource (like a checklist or guide) means you’ll be added to our mailing list via Brevo, and you’ll receive occasional emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us directly.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — including guides, checklists, blog posts, images, branding, and social content — belongs to Ashleigh Wilson / Not a Life Coach, unless otherwise stated.
You’re welcome to use what you learn in your own business. What you can’t do is:
- Copy, resell, redistribute, or repost our content, guides, or products as your own
- Share paid products with people who haven’t purchased them
- Use our branding, name, or content to represent your own business or services
Acceptable use
When using this site, you agree not to:
- Use it in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or our systems
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
Liability
We do our best to keep the site accurate, secure, and running smoothly, but we can’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Not a Life Coach isn’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, our content, or our products.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for things that can’t legally be limited, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Links to other sites
Our site or content may link to third-party websites (like Brevo forms or social media platforms). We’re not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sites.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as the business grows or changes. Any updates will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
